A gourmet’s paradise, Spicers Clovelly Estate is home to a fine dining restaurant – The Long Apron specialising in personalised service, seasonal French inspired menus and an extensive wine list including reds from Burgundy and Bordeaux.

Spicers Clovelly Estate's in-house restaurant, The Long Apron, boasts exquisite French-inspired food served in an elegant dining room highlighted by polished timber floors and stunning French doors leading to an outside courtyard that is ideal for dining al fresco.

The restaurant offers the opportunity to dine as French families do, by gathering family, friends and colleagues together and sharing a delicious meal at the dining room's French Table. Ideal for groups, this table has a view of the kitchen and is the perfect place to enjoy great conversation, fine wine and a 5 course meal featuring beautifully presented central platters filled with dishes such as hearty seafood bouillabaisse, cassoulet, duck confit, wagyu bourgignon and slow-cooked leg of lamb followed by desserts such as chocolate terrine and tarte au citron before finishing with a large central Fromagerie board featuring Australian and French cheeses. Warm, friendly, personal and, of course, delicious, The French Table provides the ideal alternative to set menus for group get-togethers.

Outdoor Terrace - Light and airy with magnificent views over the property, the outdoor terrace is the ideal place to breakfast, lunch or dine, but it is perhaps best enjoyed with a drink at dusk as the setting sun colours the night sky.

Main Lounge and Bar - Providing the perfect place to meet before dinner, the main lounge and bar area features genuine French antiques, dramatic black lacquer furniture, exquisite European fabrics and a stone bar to share with 10 friends. The magnificent marble fireplace found in the lounge area also features built in seating, making it the perfect place to curl up with a glass of red wine or cognac.

Cooking Schools  - Budding chefs can learn some of Spicers Clovelly Estate’s culinary secrets in a series of cooking classes hosted by talented Chefs. Participants will learn how to produce dishes such as free range chicken and asparagus terrine; chicken in salt crust with hay, grapes and mushrooms; pork rillettes and caramalised shallot tarte tatin with goats cheese – and enjoy their creations under the Jacaranda tree on the beautiful grounds of Spicers Clovelly Estate.

Running from 10am to 3pm the Saturday Long Apron Cooking Schools cater for four-to-eight guests and include lunch, wine, full recipes, tips pack and branded apron to take home plus a gift wrapped Reidel glass.
