Lake House is a tranquil retreat that includes thirty-three rooms and suites with either courtyard or waterfront views, and a private Luxury Retreat. Six acres of manicured gardens extend down to the waters of Lake Daylesford and provide guests with immediate access to the lake shore and the Wombat State Forest beyond.

Rooms are individually furnished with limited edition prints and original canvases from Co-Owner and renowned artist Allan Wolf-Tasker as well as a selection of additional artists from the culturally rich region

Lodge Rooms: are individually configured and decorated rooms nestled between private courtyards, gardens and terraces - clustered around a stylishly appointed and comfortable Guest Lounge complete with billiard table and open fire.

Waterfront Rooms: These picturesque rooms complete with balconies overlook Lake Daylesford. They have a king or twin bed set up. The contemporary en suite includes dual shower.

Waterfront Suites: are accessed by a bridge over the cool fern gully the suites are ideal for an indulgent overnight escape or an extended blissful retreat.  The Suites are spacious and luxurious with large  balconies or terraces overlooking the lagoon and the lake shore. Each suite is furnished with contemporary interiors, king or twin bed, easy chair and ottoman. There is a walk in  robe, extensive bar area and in the en suite a dual shower and dual spa bath.

The Retreat: a private luxe “retreat” situated behind a discreet gate, amongst its own gardens and with direct access to the lake foreshore, the retreat offers the opportunity for a more private getaway within the fabled Lake House grounds. The Retreat has two sumptuously furnished bedrooms, fireside lounging areas, two luxury bathroom /dressing rooms and fully equipped kitchen and bar areas.

The style of the Retreat at Lake House is one of refreshingly fresh and charming quirkiness. Interiors feature hand selected pieces from Olly of San Francisco. However, whilst style abounds, creature comforts are never neglected. All the essentials of a luxe fit out including heated bathroom floors, wifi, espresso machines and good sound systems are provided.
