The magnificent Cape Lodge Restaurant ranked in the Top Ten in the World for Food is described as one of Australia’s finest new generation dining establishments.

The menu changes daily and superbly crafted dishes can be matched with premium back vintage wines from the extensive temperature controlled wine cellar.

The restaurant is open 7 days per week for breakfast and dinner and is offering a special 2 course Winter Fare Menu on Wednesday and Thursday nights for $65.00 per person including a glass of wine.
Cape Lodge Chef Tony Howell is a familiar face in the WA restaurant scene and has done time at some of the best addresses in town. Tony joined Cape Lodge in 1999 and believes in absolute freshness and uncompromisingly good ingredients. “The area is abundant with fresh produce - grain fed Harvey beef, seafood caught from our oceans, marron from local dams and fabulous cheeses and organic vegetables," said Mr. Howell.

Tony also runs cooking classes once a month. Designed for food lovers his two hour “Fresh is Best” cooking class provides a fun opportunity to learn some of Tony’s favourite recipes and kitchen tips. Classes run from 3.30pm until 5.30pm and cost $95.00 per person. Classes are scheduled on Saturday 17 July, 14 August, 25 September and 23 October.

Another 'must do' culinary experience at Cape Lodge is the superb Gourmet Breakfast served overlooking the lake and gardens. Start with homemade fruit compotes, pastries and seasonal fruits then order from the a la carte breakfast menu with dishes including House Smoked Salmon with Twice Baked Soufflé with a Caper Dill Crème Fraiche, Warm Crepes with Butterscotch Pear, Walnut and Double Cream, Roast Mushroom with Crispy Prosciutto, Spinach, Basil Pesto and Goats Cheese Curd Tart and Jamon Serrano, poached Egg, Tomato Relish, grilled Beef and Mint Oil.

Cape Lodge sits on its own boutique vineyard on Caves Road, Wilyabrup and produces premium Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.
