UK Condé Nast Gold List for 2012 features seven of the Luxury Lodges of Australia...
Australian hotels Condé Nast Traveller has revealed their definitive list of the best hotels in the world for 2012, The Gold List, including eleven Australian properties in the exclusive selection. Seven of the Luxury Lodges of Australia made the coveted list including Capella Lodge, Longitude 131°, Saffire Freycinet, Southern Ocean Lodge, Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, Cape Lodge and Qualia.
Four of Australia's outstanding city hotels also made the list giving Australia a total of 11 listings. This is a significantly increased presence and reflects just how dramatically the Australian travel landscape has evolved and improved in recent years - especially in the experiential luxury sector.
In its ninth year, the Gold List has become the bible for anyone looking for somewhere truly outstanding to stay and includes the best hotels for location, rooms, service, food, ambience & design and leisure facilities.
The full Gold List will be published in January 2012.
