Free night plus drive or fly free

As a special bonus, bring 4 couples and get the 5th couple free – the lodge is yours exclusively! Crystalbrook is Australia’s newest luxury lodge. Immerse yourself in the drama and colours of the Northern Queensland Outback as you explore the wilderness of the lodge surroundings. All inclusive luxury during your stay including gourmet meals, open bar, lake fishing and guided wildlife explorations. A day in the tiny outback town of Chillagoe – famous for its pub and limestone caves – and a visit to the historic Crystalbrook Homestead is included.
Day 1. Arrive Cairns airport (or city). Collect your car (or go to your Flight at General Aviation for the 45 minute flight direct to Crystalbrook Lodge) and take the scenic Kuranda Range Road to the Atherton Tablelands where you can stop for an excellent local coffee at Mareeba Coffeeworks. From Mareeba continue driving through tropical orchards and cane fields towards Dimbulah and the dry outback reaching Almaden pub after approximately 1 hours driving. Here you’ll be met by our staff for a 40-minute transfer by All Terrain Vehicle to Crystalbrook Lodge. On arrival you can enjoy refreshments (or lunch) and settle in to your spacious Courtyard Suite. Take a dip in the Magna Wet Edge Pool and then head out onto Crystalbrook Lake for some fishing or wildlife viewing. Evening cocktails and gourmet meal with full open bar will complete your first day. Day 2. Wake up with the birds to witness the sunrise over the lake with a freshly brewed coffee followed by a Lakeside walk with our resident guide before returning to the Lodge for breakfast. Spend the day enjoying one of the many activities on offer at the Lodge, such as kayaking, barramundi fishing, bush walking, bird watching or simply relax in the manicured grounds with a good book before your gourmet lunch prepared by our 5 star chef. Enjoy the afternoon with a lake cruise on our electric pontoon boat for a spot of fishing and wildlife spotting before you are treated with pre-dinner cocktails and nibbles on board the boat viewing a spectacular Outback Sunset. After your three-course dinner relax by the campfire to be mesmerised by the outback night sky. Day 3. After breakfast you will head off on a full day of 4WD adventure and discovery that starts with a visit to the Crystalbrook Homestead, our working cattle station. After a tour of the Homestead you will be treated to real Outback hospitality with a cuppa and freshly baked scones whilst you chat with the team at the homestead. After morning tea we head off to Chillagoe in our 4WD coach for a classic Bush Pub Lunch at the Post Office Hotel before we head off to your private guided cave tour in one of Chillagoe’s famous caves. On the way home we visit local marble quarries to see how this world famous marble is mined. Pre-dinner cocktails are served at a remote Outback Sunset view location. With your favourite beverages and pre dinner nibbles at your fingertips, a campfire and an uninterrupted view of the horizon our staff leave you to enjoy the sunset at your leisure.
