1 Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley Blue Mountains, New South Wales (3 NIGHTS)

Easily accessible from Sydney, the Greater Blue Mountains is a wilderness covering more than one million hectares of rainforest, canyons, eucalypt forests and heath lands. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the conservation-led Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley. With private stand-alone villas, each with its own swimming pool and 7,000 acres of private conservation reserve to explore, this is the quintessential Australian bush experience.

What will I do there?

  • 4WD Tour of the Reserve – an all-encompassing tour of the Wolgan Valley reserve, observe Australia’s native wildlife including wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, and wallaroos. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine as the sun disappears into the horizon.
  • Campfire and Stargazing – be driven to your personal campfire and settle down to enjoy some delicious treats. Your Field Guide will prepare the telescope for a tour of the sky, providing scientific insight to the Milky Way above.
  • Horse Riding – trail rides include river crossings, gloriously scenic hills, open grasslands and native eucalypt woodlands conducted at a leisurely pace.

Neighbouring the World Heritage-listed wilderness of the Daintree National Park and overlooking the gently flowing Mossman River, Silky Oaks Lodge offers a stylish base from which to explore Tropical North Queensland, renowned as the meeting place of the rainforest and reef.

What will I do there?

  • Swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Mossman River, home to freshwater turtles, a variety of fish and the elusive platypus.
  • For an introduction to the rainforest, join the lodge guide on a daily walk around the property’s beautiful grounds. A series of marked trails are perfect for self-guided hikes including exclusive access to the Figtree Rapids trail  which leads to a natural swimming hole.
