Bamurru Plains
A unique safari lodge on the edge of Kakadu National Park. Bamurru Plains offers a distinctively ‘Wild Bush Luxury’ style to an event.
Combining attention with detail, ‘down to earth’ style of service and intimate surroundings with an exotic bush setting, Bamurru Plains provides a genuinely environmental venue for small meetings and incentives.
Although only 30 minutes flight from Darwin, the spectacular natural setting offers guests an environment to inspire and provoke thought, removed from the distractions of a city location. The safari lodge building offers boardroom or casual seating arrangements with a drop-down screen and projector to conduct meetings, while a team of lodge and field guiding staff take you on early morning and late afternoon safari experiences to explore the surrounding floodplain, savannah and wild mangrove creek country.
In season, Bamurru Plains also offers one of the best fishing venues in northern Australia, including airboat fishing on Swim Creek floodplain. Team fishing challenges can be arranged for exclusive groups. If you have never caught a fish in your life, this is going to be one of your most memorable adventures!
The lodge team will also host special events such as weddings or family reunions, and the opportunity to use some secret bush spots for specific activities and events, supported of course by a profusion of bird and wildlife in a truly spectacular outback setting.
